Sensex up 67pts; breadth neutral

The Sensex is now up 67 points at 14,231.

SBI has surged 2.5% to Rs 1,449. Tata Motors, Reliance Energy and Maruti have rallied over 2% each to Rs 636, Rs 721 and Rs 793, respectively.

Tata Steel and Hindalco have gained 1.5% each at Rs 569 and Rs 141, respectively.

BHEL and ONGC have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 1,684 and Rs 794, respectively. Ranbaxy is up over 1% at Rs 353.

HDFC Bank has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,087. Infosys is the other prominent loser among the index stocks.

The market breadth is almost neutral - out of 2,307 stocks traded so far, 1,107 have advanced, 1,117 have declined and 83 are unchanged.
