Sensex up 67pts; ICICI advances 3%

The Sensex is now up 67 points at 14,300.

ICICI Bank has advanced 2.7% to Rs 988. Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's have rallied nearly 2% each to Rs 773 and Rs 725, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has moved up 1.5% to Rs 1,714. HLL and SBI have gained 1.3% each at Rs 214 and and Rs 1,154, respectively.

BHEL, Reliance, Reliance Energy and ACC are up around 1% each at Rs 2,522, Rs 1,617, Rs 529 and Rs 841, respectively.

Hero Honda has tumbled 2% to Rs 669. Gujarat Ambuja and Satyam have shed 1.7% each to Rs 119 and Rs 459, respectively.

HDFC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,725. NTPC, ONGC and Tata Steel are down 1% each at Rs 155, Rs 964 and Rs 566, respectively.

Out of 2,460 stocks traded so far, 1,278 have declined, 1,116 have advanced and 66 are unchanged.
