Sensex up 67pts; ITC, HDFC Bank firm

The Sensex is now up 67 points at 20,259.

ITC has surged 2% to Rs 204. HDFC Bank has rallied 1.7% to Rs 1,732.

Reliance Energy, Tata Steel and Hindalco have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 2,145, Rs 907 and Rs 212, respectively.

Wipro, Hindustan Unilever and ONGC are up over 1% each at Rs 542, Rs 217 and Rs 1,250, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has plunged 2.5% to Rs 2,613.

Reliance Communications and Bharti Airtel have shed 1.3% each at Rs 734 and Rs 969, respectively.

Grasim is down 1% at Rs 3,580.

Out of 2,929 stocks traded so far, 2,150 have advanced, 737 have declined and 42 are unchanged.
