Sensex up 67pts; Maruti gains 2.6%

The Sensex touched a high of 10,281, and is now up 67 points at 10,268.

Maruti has zoomed 2.6% to Rs 798. Dr.Reddy's and Tata Power have surged 1.7% each to Rs 1,330 and Rs 526, respectively.

HDFC has moved up 1.6% to Rs 1,385. Gujarat Ambuja and Hero Honda are up 1.4% each at Rs 87.35 and Rs 902, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro (Rs 2374), HDFC Bank (Rs 720), Grasim (Rs 1,667), Infosys (Rs 2,789) and ACC (Rs 599) have spurted over 1% each.

The market breadth is extrmely positive. Out of 1,815 stocks traded so far, 1,180 have moved up, 590 have slipped and 45 are unchanged.
