Sensex up 67pts; SBI, Hindalco lead

The Sensex is now up 67 points at 11,599.

SBI and Hindalco have surged over 3% each to Rs 903 and Rs 173, respectively. Tata Steel has added 2.3% to Rs 529.

Bajaj Auto has rallied over 2% to Rs 2,756. HLL has gained nearly 2% at Rs 236.

Satyam and Grasim are up 1% each at Rs 818 and Rs 2,219, respectively.

Tata Motors and HDFC Bank have slipped 1% each to Rs 852 and Rs 846, respectively.

Out of 2,486 stocks traded so far, 1,526 have advanced, 874 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
