Sensex up 67pts; Tata Motors drops 3%

The Sensex has pared gains and is now 67 points at 14,638. The index had touched a high of 14,683 in opening trades.

Hindalco has soared 6.5% to Rs 150.

SBI has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,399, and HDFC Bank has added 1.3% to Rs 1,168. ICICI Bank is up 1% at Rs 937.

Tata Motors has dropped over 3% to Rs 723. Satyam has shed 1.6% at Rs 471.
