Sensex up 67pts; Tata Steel, Hindalco shine

The Sensex is now up 67 points at 13,748.

NTPC has zoomed over 4% to Rs 148. Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 483, and Hindalco has added nearly 2% to Rs 178.

Dr.Reddy's has rallied 2% to Rs 752. HLL and Ranbaxy have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 244 and Rs 389, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, ONGC, ITC and Cipla are up 1.3% each at Rs 2,676, Rs 856, Rs 182 and Rs 263, respectively.

Out of 2,286 stocks traded so far, 1,436 have advanced, 779 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
