Sensex up 68 pts

The market continues to remain firm, although selective profit-taking has trimmed the gains of the index in current trades. The Sensex is now up 68 points at 7,663.

Satyam has trimmed gains to Rs 507 - up Rs 10 or 1.99%. Infosys and TCS are up a per cent each at Rs 2,284 (up Rs 21) and Rs 1,296 (up Rs 11), respectively.

Reliance is up a per cent (Rs 6) at Rs 713. ITC has clocked a per cent gain (Rs 17) to Rs 1,719. ONGC, however, is still trailing by a per cent (Rs 7) at Rs 948.

ICICI Bank has gained 1.62% (Rs 8) to Rs 490, while HDFC Bank is still up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 659. SBI is holding on to its gains at Rs 785 - up Rs 9 or 1.11%.

Hero Honda has scaled up 2.16% (Rs 13) to Rs 621, while Tata Motors is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 477. Bajaj has slipped a per cent (Rs 10) to Rs 1,425, and Maruti is trading lower by 1.10% (Rs 5) at Rs 480.

Bharti has moved up 2.71% (Rs 8) to Rs 299.
