Sensex up 68pts; ACC, Grasim gain 2%

The Sensex is now up 68 points at 15,514.

Ranbaxy has soared nearly 3% to Rs 411.

Reliance Energy, Grasim, Tata Motors and ACC have rallied around 2% each to Rs 842, Rs 3,119, Rs 712 and Rs 1,104, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Hindustan Unilever and Ambuja Cements have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 2,340, Rs 215 and Rs 140, respectively.

HDFC and Mahindra & Mahindra are up over 1% each at Rs 2,076 and Rs 717, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped nearly 1% to Rs 155.

Out of 2,441 stocks traded so far, 1,455 have advanced, 921 have declined and 65 are unchanged.
