Sensex up 69pts; Bharti, Hindalco shine

The Sensex is now up 69 points at 13,772.

NTPC has soared 4% (Rs 6) to Rs 156. Bharti Airtel and Hindalco have surged almost 2% each to Rs 628 and Rs 181, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Energy, SBI, HLL and ITC have advanced around 1% each to Rs 1,402, Rs 549, Rs 1,267, Rs 245 and Rs 181, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped 1.3% to Rs 745.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,227 stocks traded so far, 1,422 have advanced, 726 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
