Sensex up 69pts; Maruti rallies 3%

The Sensex is now at 13,856, up 69 points.

Maruti has surged 2.7% to Rs 952, and Bajaj Auto has rallied 2.5% to Rs 2,683.

Gujarat Ambuja has flared up 1.5% to Rs 144. Ranbaxy has added 1.3% to Rs 397.

Cipla, Tata Motors and Satyam are up around 1% each.

Hero Honda has slipped nearly 1% to Rs 756.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,064 stocks traded so far, 1,546 have moved up, 472 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
