Sensex up 69pts; REL, Bajaj rally 3%

The Sensex is now up 69 points at 15,634.

BHEL has soared 3.7% to Rs 1,709. Hindustan Unilever and Larsen & Toubro have surged around 3.5% each to Rs 201 and Rs 2,559, respectively.

Bajaj Auto and Reliance Energy have rallied around 3% each to Rs 2,400 and Rs 708, respectively.

Satyam has gained 2% at Rs 488. NTPC has advanced 1.5% to Rs 157, and ONGC has added 1.3% to Rs 898.

Cipla has plunged 4% to Rs 193. Infosys has shed 2.5% to Rs 1,937.

Ambuja Cements has slipped 1.4% to Rs 134, and ICICI Bank is down over 1% to Rs 974.

Out of 2,569 stocks traded so far, 1,307 have advanced, 1,182 have declined and 80 are unchanged.
