Sensex up 69pts; Rel Comm zooms 5%

The Sensex is now up 69 points at 11,923.

Reliance Communications has surged nearly 5% to Rs 316.

Maruti has rallied 3.5% to Rs 945. Hero Honda and BHEL have gained over 2.5% each to Rs 730 and Rs 2,313, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Hindalco and Ranbaxy have advanced over 2% each to Rs 490, Rs 185 and Rs 418, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has added 1.5% to Rs 429.

Larsen & Toubro and HDFC are down nearly 1% each at Rs 2,550 and Rs 1,341, respectively.

Out of 2,593 stocks traded so far, 1,539 have advanced, 954 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
