Sensex up 6pts; Ranbaxy slips 2%

The Sensex is now up six points at 14,169.

ICICI Bank has moved up 1.3% to Rs 920. ONGC, Hindalco and SBI are up 1% each at Rs 893, Rs 163 and Rs 1,335, respectively.

Hero Honda has tumbled over 3% to Rs 658. Ranbaxy has shed 2.3% to Rs 365.

TCS has slipped 1% to Rs 1,172.

Out of 2,485 stocks traded so far, 1,234 have advanced, 1,181 have declined and 70 are unchanged.
