Sensex up 6pts; Rel Comm, Bharti slip

The Sensex is now up six points at 11,483.

Cipla and Maruti have spurted over 2% each to Rs 250 and Rs 837, respectively. Tata Motors has gained 1.8% at Rs 852.

ACC, Ranbaxy, TCS, HLL and Dr.Reddy's are up over 1% each.

Hindalco has slipped 2% to Rs 161. HDFC Bank has dropped 1.5% to Rs 836.

Reliance Communications, Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel are down 1% each at Rs 291, Rs 514 and Rs 411, respectively.

Out of 2,338 stocks traded so far, 1,212 have advanced, 1,060 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
