Sensex up 71pts

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 32 points at 13,501. Fresh buying in the early trades saw the index rally to a new all-time intra-day high of 13,552.

The index is now up 71 points at 13,540.

Ranbaxy and Satyam are up nearly 1% each at Rs 407 and Rs 431, respectively.

ONGC is down nearly 1% at Rs 873.
