Sensex up 71pts, Maruti gains 5%

The Sensex, which hit a new lifetime high of 14,735 in early deals, is still up 71 points at 14,722.

Maruti has zoomed nearly 5% (Rs 36) to Rs 779.

L&T is still up over 3% at Rs 2,264. BHEL is holding 1.7% gain at Rs 1,564.

Reliance Energy has gained 1.7% to Rs 624.

Reliance, Infosys, ONGC and SBI continue to trade with marginal gains.
