Sensex up 72pts; HLL slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 72 points at 13,262.

Tata Steel has soared nearly 4% to Rs 514. BHEL has surged 3% to Rs 2,536.

Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and Larsen & Toubro have rallied over 1.5% each to Rs 777, Rs 138 and Rs 1,605, respectively.

Reliance Energy, ICICI Bank, SBI, Bajaj Auto and NTPC are up over 1% each to Rs 516, Rs 869, Rs 1,001, Rs 2,295 and Rs 159, respectively.

HLL has shed nearly 2% to Rs 205. Gujarat Ambuja, Dr.Reddy's, HDFC and Grasim are down around 1% each to Rs 108, Rs 713, Rs 1,593 and Rs 2,215, respectively.

Out of 2,220 stocks traded so far, 1,588 have advanced, 572 have declined and 60 are unchanged.
