Sensex up 73pts; breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex is now up 73 points at 15,538.

NTPC has soared 3.6% to Rs 188. Cipla has surged 2.5% to Rs 184, and Reliance Energy have gained 2% at Rs 841.

Satyam has advanced 1.5% to Rs 456. TCS and Infosys have moved up 1.2% each to Rs 1,079 and Rs 1,912, respectively.

Grasim is up 1% at Rs 3,055.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,103 stocks traded so far, 1,515 have advanced, 540 have declined and 48 are unchanged.
