Sensex up 73pts in early trades; Sterlite surges 4%

After opening 61 points higher at 13,631, the Sensex is now up 73 points at 13,644.

Sterlite has surged over 4% to Rs 469.

ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have rallied over 2% each to Rs 613 and Rs 1,263, respectively.

DLF has gained 1.8% at Rs 402. Reliance Infrastructure, Reliance and BHEL have moved up nearly 1.5% each to Rs 876, Rs 2,038 and Rs 1,648, respectively.

Satyam has shed 2.5% at Rs 324. Wipro and Bharti Airtel have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 384 and Rs 782, respectively.
