Sensex up 74pts; REL, Satyam lead

The Sensex is now up 74 points at 19,166.

Reliance Energy and Satyam have zoomed 4.4% each to Rs 1,965 and Rs 422, respectively.

Infosys has soared 3.7% to Rs 1,698. Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors have rallied over 2% each to Rs 795 and Rs 706, respectively.

TCS and DLF have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 1,037 and Rs 964, respectively. Hindalco is up 1% at Rs 201.

BHEL and Cipla have shed 2% each at Rs 2,351 and Rs 211, respectively.

ITC has dropped 1.7% to Rs 196, and ACC is down over 1% at Rs 1,018.

Out of 2,912 stocks traded so far, 1,568 have declined, 1,313 have advanced and 31 are unchanged.
