Sensex up 75pts; BHEL drops 5%

The Sensex is now up 75 points at 15,825.

The NSE Nifty is up 26 points at 4,780.

Wipro has soared 4.5% to Rs 433. Satyam has surged 2.6% to Rs 418. Infosys and TCS have rallied around 2% each to Rs 1,512 and Rs 867, respectively.

ONGC has moved up over 2% to Rs 1,033. Reliance and Tata Steel have gained 1.7% each at Rs 2,383 and Rs 657, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and Jaiprakash Associates have advanced 1% each to Rs 238 and Rs 234, respectively.

BHEL has plunged 4% to Rs 1,777. Reliance Energy has shed 3.5% at Rs 1,188.

Maruti has dropped 2.7% to Rs 790. Tata Motors and Cipla have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 628 and Rs 216, respectively.

ACC and Grasim have also declined around 1.5% each to Rs 821 and Rs 2,580, respectively. Larsen & Toubro is down over 1% at Rs 2,832.
