Sensex up 75pts; Mah & Mah soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 75 pooints at 16,398.

Mahindra & Mahindra has soared 3.8% to Rs 769. Larsen & Toubro has surged 3.4% to Rs 2,760.

ITC and Tata Motors have rallied 2.7% each to Rs 192 and Rs 741, respectively.

Hindalco has moved up 2.3% to Rs 163. Reliance Energy and Bharti Airtel are up nearly 2% each at Rs 964 and Rs 902, respectively.

Infosys has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 1,800. TCS and Wipro have dropped around 2% each to Rs 1,000 and Rs 440, respectively.

Satyam has slipped 1.6% to Rs 423.
