Sensex up 75pts; Reliance, Tata Steel shine

The Sensex is now up 75 points at 11,979.

Reliance Energy has surged 4% to Rs 483. Larsen & Toubro has advanced 2% to Rs 2,515.

Tata Steel and Reliance have moved up over 1.5% each to Rs 522 and Rs 1,143, respectively.

Hindalco, Dr.Reddy's and ITC have gained over 1% each at Rs 181, Rs 739 and Rs 190, respectively.

ONGC has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,213.

Out of 2,387 stocks traded so far, 1,545 have advanced, 769 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
