Sensex up 75pts; Wipro soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 75 points at 13,013.

Wipro has soared 4% to Rs 583. Satyam has surged 3.7% to Rs 428, and TCS has added 3% to Rs 1,225. Infosys is up 1.5% at Rs 2,109.

HDFC Bank has rallied 3.5% to Rs 965. Maruti has gained 3% at Rs 865, and Tata Motors has moved up 2.7% to Rs 805.

Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have advanced over 2% each to Rs 452 and Rs 416, respectively.

Ranbaxy and Larsen & Toubro are the other major gainers.

Hindalco has shed 2.6% to Rs 136. ONGC, BHEL and Dr.Reddy's have slipped around 2% each to Rs 773, Rs 2,134 and Rs 664, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, Hero Honda, Grasim and HLL are down over 1% each to Rs 710, Rs 668, Rs 2,190 and Rs 175, respectively.
