Ambuja Cements has gained 2% at Rs 137, and Larsen & Toubro has added 1.5% to Rs 2,626.
Maruti, Infosys and TCS are up 1.3% each to Rs 893, Rs 1,887 and Rs 1,073, respectively.
Hindalco and NTPC have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 158 and Rs 182, respectively. Tata Motors and Wipro have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 693 and Rs 469, respectively.
Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, BHEL and ONGC are down around 1% each at Rs 2,292, Rs 861, Rs 1,922 and Rs 834, respectively.
Out of 2,766 stocks traded so far, 1,776 have advanced, 933 have declined and 57 are unchanged.
