Sensex up 76pts; ONGC, Wipro down 2%

The Sensex is now up 76 points at 10,745.

Tata Steel has zoomed 6% to Rs 544. Cipla has surged nearly 5% to Rs 234.

Bajaj Auto has rallied over 4% to Rs 2,904. HDFC and Larsen & Toubro have gained over 3.5% each at Rs 1,195 and Rs 2,375, respectively.

Infosys, BHEL and Gujarat Ambuja are up nearly 3% each at Rs 2,919, Rs 1,955 and Rs 99, respectively.

ONGC has slipped over 2% to Rs 1,176. Wipro has shed 1.6% to Rs 476.

Bharti Tele, Tata Power, Dr.Reddy's and TCS have declined over 1% each to Rs 388, Rs 495, Rs 1,404 and Rs 1,855, respectively.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,482 stocks traded so far, 1,784 have advanced, 644 have declined and 54 are unchanged.
