Sensex up 77pts; Hero Honda advances 2%

The Sensex is now up 77 points at 14,011.

Ranbaxy has rallied over 2% to Rs 391. Reliance and Hero Honda have surged nearly 2% each to Rs 1,612 and Rs 711, respectively.

Maruti and Tata Steel have advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 818 and Rs 561, respectively.

HDFC, BHEL and SBI are up around 1% each at Rs 1,655, Rs 2,525 and Rs 1,140, respectively.

Satyam has slipped over 1% to Rs 465.

Out of 2,310 stocks traded so far, 1,371 have advanced, 868 have declined and 71 are unchanged.
