Sensex up 77pts; ICICI Bank rallies 3%

The Sensex touched a high of 12,003, and is now up 77 points at 11,971.

ICICI Bank has rallied 3% to Rs 650. Dr.Reddy's and Grasim have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 755 and Rs 2,380, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja, ACC, Satyam, TCS, HLL, Bajaj Auto and Reliance are up over 1.5% each.

Hero Honda has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 764. HDFC and Reliance Communications are down 1% each at Rs 1,337 and Rs 321, respectively.

Out of 2,546 stocks traded so far, 1,260 have declined, 1,188 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
