Sensex up 78pts; Rel Comm gains 2%

The Sensex has flared up to higher levels and is now up 78 points 13,730.

Reliance Communications has rallied 2% to Rs 444. ITC, ONGC and Gujarat Ambuja have gained 1.7% each at Rs 166, Rs 926 and Rs 139, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, Cipla, Infosys, ACC, Grasim and Wipro are up over 1% each at Rs 2,747, Rs 251, Rs 2,233, Rs 1,041, Rs 2,848 and Rs 586, respectively.

HDFC has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,575.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,253 stocks traded so far, 1,784 have advanced, 426 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
