Sensex up 78pts; Wipro drops 2.5%

The Sensex is now up 23 points at 10,250.

Grasim and Tata Steel have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 1,980 and Rs 484, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, HDFC and Dr.Reddy's are up 1.3% each at Rs 2,099, Rs 1,080 and Rs 1,240, respectively.

Wipro has slumped 4.5% to Rs 463. TCS and Satyam have dropped 2% each to Rs 1,802 and Rs 682, respectively.

The market breadth is even - out of 1,741 stocks traded so far, 847 have advanced, 836 have declined and 58 are unchanged.
