Sensex up 79pts; breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex is now up 79 points at 13,510.

Reliance Energy (REL) has soared 4% (Rs 20) to Rs 536. TCS, Gujarat Ambuja, Dr.Reddy's and Bharti Airtel have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,134, Rs 136, Rs 736 and Rs 614, respectively.

Maruti, Satyam, SBI and Wipro have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 884, Rs 447, Rs 1,227 and Rs 562, respectively.

ACC, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Ranbaxy, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors, NTPC and ICICI Bank are the other prominent gainers.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,063 stocks traded so far, 1,545 have moved up, 461 have slipped and 57 are unchanged.
