Sensex up 7pts; market breadth negative

The Sensex is now up seven points at 11,086.

Maruti has rallied 2.2% to Rs 858. Gujarat Ambuja has moved up 2% to Rs 100.

Wipro has advanced 1.7% to Rs 529, and Infosys has added 1.5% to Rs 2,925.

ONGC and HDFC are also trading with solid gains at Rs 1,275 and Rs 1,335, respectively.

BHEL has shed 1.7% to Rs 2,120. Dr.Reddy's has slipped over 1% to Rs 1,434.

Hindalco, Tata Steel and ICICI Bank are down 1% each at Rs 173, Rs 513 and Rs 594, respectively.

Out of 2,513 stocks traded so far, 1,489 have declined, 947 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
