Sensex up 8 pts; HDFC Bank gains 2%

Jaiprakash Associates is up 2.3% to Rs 267, HDFC Bank has gained 2% to Rs 1,495. Reliance Communications and L&T  is up over 1.5 % to  Rs 599 and Rs 3,012 respectively. SBI too have gained over 1.5% to Rs 1,706.
Ambuja Cements has declined 1.3% to Rs 110.60, Hindalco is down 1.2% to Rs 201. HDFC, TCS, Infosys, ITC Cipla and Maruti are down under half per cent each.
