Sensex up 80 pts, bank scrips rally

The Sensex has moved up 1.3% (80 points) to 6,369.

Infosys has moved up 3% (Rs 56) to Rs 1,994. While Satyam is up 1.7% (Rs 7) at Rs 417, Wipro is also up 1.7% (Rs 11) at Rs 642.

Reliance has gained Rs 4 to Rs 545. SBI is up Rs 7 at Rs 615. ONGC has moved up Rs 15 to Rs 852.

Bajaj is still up 1.8% (Rs 19) to Rs 1,105. Hero Honda is up 2% (Rs 10) at Rs 540.

ACC has added Rs 2 to Rs 372. Grasim is up Rs 13 at Rs 1,142.

Dr. Reddy's has gained 2.3% (Rs 15) to Rs 668. Ranbaxy is up Rs 10 at Rs 963.

ICICI Bank is steady at Rs 378 - up 3% (Rs 11). Other bank scrips are trading with sharp gains. Federal Bank has zoomed 14% to Rs 167. ING Vysya is up 9% at Rs 154. IndusInd Bank, Kotak Bank, BoB, BoI, Corporation Bank, UTI Bank, Canara Bank, Dena Bank, Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank and IDBI are trading at higher levels.
