Sensex up 82pts; Dr.Reddy's advances 2%

The Sensex is now up 82 points at 13,513.

Reliance Energy (REL) has surged 2.7% to Rs 530. Dr.Reddy's has rallied 2% to Rs 737.

TCS and Hindalco have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,133 and Rs 174, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja, Wipro and SBI have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 136, Rs 563 and Rs 1,226, respectively.

Satyam, ACC and Maruti are the other prominent gainers.

Infosys has slipped over 1% to Rs 2,228.

Out of 2,171 stocks traded so far, 1,607 have advanced, 506 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
