Sensex up 82pts; ONGC, Maruti drop 3%

The Sensex has once again pared gains and is now up 82 points at 12,021.

Bharti Tele has gained 2.4% at Rs 422. TCS has rallied over 2% to Rs 1,983.

Hindalco has spurted 2.4% to Rs 220. Tata Steel is up 1.4% at Rs 663.

BHEL and Larsen & Toubro have gained almost 2% each at Rs 2,414 and Rs 2,714, respectively.

While ITC has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 205, HLL has moved up 1.5% to Rs 294.

Reliance has added 1.8% to Rs 995.

ONGC has plunged over 3% to Rs 1,342. Maruti has slumped 2.8% to Rs 898.

Infosys has dropped 2% to Rs 3,160. ACC and Hero Honda are down nearly 1% each at Rs 960 and Rs 840, respectively.

Out of 2,487 stocks traded so far, 1,635 have advanced, 791 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
