Sensex up 82pts; Rel Comm soars 5%

The Sensex is now up 82 points at 14,486.

Reliance Communications has soared 4.5% to Rs 513, and Bharti Airtel has surged 2% to Rs 786.

Reliance Energy and HDFC have advanced 2.5% each to Rs 547 and Rs 1,786, respectively. Maruti and Bajaj Auto have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 960 and Rs 2,818, respectively.

SBI and Hero Honda are up 1% each at Rs 1,195 and Rs 723, respectively.

Hindalco has slipped 3% to Rs 177. Wipro is down 1.3% at Rs 635.

Out of 2,660 stocks traded so far, 1,563 have advanced, 1,016 have declined and 81 are unchanged.
