Sensex up 83pts, Adlabs zooms 20%

The Sensex is still up 83 points (1.16%) at 7,202.

Infosys is steady at Rs 2,370 - up 2% (Rs 46). Satyam has gained 3% (Rs 14) at Rs 503. TCS is up a per cent (Rs 14) at Rs 1,347. Wipro, however, has declined Rs 6 to Rs 748.

ONGC has shed some gains, but is still up Rs 16 (1.6%) at Rs 1,010. ITC is steady at Rs 1,630 - up Rs 15. Reliance is up Rs 8 at Rs 650.

Bajaj is up 2% (Rs 26) at Rs 1,380. Hero Honda is now 1.6% (Rs 9) at Rs 585.

HDFC Bank is still up 3% (Rs 18) at Rs 620. ICICI Bank and SBI are also trading with gains.

VSNL has moved up 5% (Rs 12) to Rs 243. Pfizer has gained 5% (Rs 35) to Rs 798. Reliance Capital is up 4% at Rs 386.

Adlabs is locked at its 20% upper limit at Rs 241 - a gain of Rs 40. TV Today, NDTV, Deccan Chronicle, Tips and Jain Studios are trading with gains. 

Advances are ahead of declines nearly 2:1 - out of 2,319 scrips traded, 1,477 have advanced, 771 have declined and 71 are unchanged.

HDFC Bank is the most active counter with a turnover of Rs 813 crore followed by Reliance Capital (Rs 128 crore) and Reliance (Rs 36 crore).
