Sensex up 83pts; Hindalco, ICICI lead

The Sensex is now up 83 points at 14,379.

Hindalco has surged 1.6% to Rs 164. ICICI Bank has rallied 1.3% to Rs 956.

Gujarat Ambuja, Satyam, HDFC Bank and HDFC have moved up 1% each to Rs 114, Rs 474, Rs 1,112 and Rs 1,792, respectively.
