Sensex up 83pts; ONGC down 1.5%

The Sensex is now up 83 points at 13,366.

Gujarat Ambuja  has surged 2.5% to Rs 138. HDFC and Reliance Communications have advanced nearly 2% each to Rs 1,523 and Rs 398, respectively.

NTPC, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Energy have gained around 1.5% each to Rs 133, Rs 552 and Rs 528, respectively.

Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Maruti are up over 1% each at Rs 828, Rs 1,056, Rs 840 and Rs 917, respectively.

ONGC has dropped 1.4% to Rs 867. Hero Honda and Hindalco are down over 1% each to Rs 717 and Rs 182, respectively.

Out of 2,381 stocks traded so far, 1,496 have advanced, 812 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
