Sensex up 85pts; breadth extremely +ve

The Sensex is now up 85 points at 14,953.

Ambuja Cements has soared over 4% to Rs 132.

NTPC, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC and Tata Steel have surged around 2% each to Rs 168, Rs 200, Rs 1,988 and Rs 648, respectively.

ACC and BHEL have rallied 1.7% each to Rs 1,018 and Rs 1,722, respectively.

Tata Motors, Grasim and Reliance Communications are up over 1% each at Rs 678, Rs 2,919 and Rs 527, respectively.

Infosys is down over 1% at Rs 1,930.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,251 stocks traded so far, 1,711 have advanced, 492 have declined and 48 are unchanged.
