Sensex up 85pts; Dr.Reddy's slips 1%

The Sensex is now up 85 points at 13,788.

NTPC has soared 3.8% (Rs 6) to Rs 156. Bharti Airtel has advanced 2% to Rs 628.

ACC and Hindalco have surged around 1.5% each to Rs 1,089 and Rs 181, respectively.

SBI has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,272. ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, HLL, Gujarat Ambuja and Bajaj Auto are around 1% each at Rs 885, Rs 1,401, Rs 246, Rs 140 and Rs 2,658, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped over 1% to Rs 746.

Out of 2,366 stocks traded so far, 1,518 have advanced, 787 have declined and 61 are unchanged.
