Sensex up 85pts; HDFC drops 2.5%

The Sensex is now up 85 points at 13,516.

Reliance Energy (REL) has surged 2.8% to Rs 530. Satyam has spurted 2.2% to Rs 450.

Dr.Reddy's has gained 1.8% at Rs 736. Bharti Airtel, TCS, Wipro, ITC, HLL, Maruti and Gujarat Ambuja are the other major gainers.

HDFC has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,622, and Infosys has slipped 1.4% to Rs 2,222.

Out of 2,385 stocks traded so far, 1,732 have advanced, 580 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
