Sensex up 85pts; Infosys slips

The Sensex is now up 85 points at 13,516.

SBI has advanced 1.7% to Rs 1,230. ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have gained 1.3% each at Rs 871 and Rs 1,100, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has surged 1.6% to Rs 614, and Reliance Communications is up 1.2% at Rs 414.

Bajaj Auto has spurted 1.5% to Rs 2,601. TCS, Hindalco, NTPC and Wipro are up around 1% each.

Infosys has slipped 1.4% to Rs 2,222, after pricing its ADS at 3.2% discount to its prevailing ADR price.
