Sensex up 85pts; Reliance, Rel Energy weak

The Sensex is now 85 points at 16,985.

Reliance Communications has soared over 2% to Rs 607, and Satyam has surged 1.8% to Rs 419.

Wipro, Tata Steel and Infosys have rallied 1.6% each to Rs 443, rs 756 and Rs 1,799, respectively.

ICICI Bank, TCS, HDFC and Bajaj Auto are up around 1% each at Rs 1,001, Rs 1,011, Rs 2,415 and Rs 2,540, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,379. Reliance and Reliance Energy are down nearly 1% each to Rs 2,380 and Rs 1,078, respectively.
