Sensex up 88pts; REL soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 88 points at 13,518.

Reliance Energy (REL) has soared 4% (Rs 20) to Rs 536. Dr.Reddy's has surged 2.3% to Rs 740.

Bharti Airtel and SBI have advanced 1.7% each to Rs 615 and Rs 1,230, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja, ACC, Bajaj Auto, Maruti and Tata Motors have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 136, Rs 1,072, Rs 2,602, Rs 883 and Rs 814, respectively.

TCS has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,129. Ranbaxy, NTPC, Hindalco, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Grasim are up over 1% each.

ONGC and Infosys are down 1% each to Rs 835 and Rs 2,233, respectively.
