Sensex up 89pts; ICICI Bank rallies 3%

The Sensex zoomed to a new all-time intra-day high of 12,624, and is now up 89 points at 12,603.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 3% to Rs 658. SBI has surged 2% to Rs 994, and HDFC Bank has added 1.3% to Rs 866.

Bajaj Auto and ONGC are up 1.5% each at Rs 3,212 and Rs 1,463, respectively.

Hindalco has gained 1.6% at Rs 233. Tata Power and NTPC have advanced over 1% each to Rs 572 and Rs 131, respectively.

Out of 2,369 stocks traded so far, 1,707 have advanced, 612 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
