Sensex up 89pts, ONGC above Rs 1,000

The Sensex has advanced 1.25% (89points) to 7,209.

Infosys has zoomed over 2% (Rs 49) to Rs 2,373. Satyam and TCS are also firmly in positive zone, but Wipro is down Rs 5 at Rs 750.

ONGC has crossed the Rs 1,000-mark, and is up 2% (Rs 20) at Rs 1,014. ITC is up nearly a per cent (Rs 14) at Rs 1,629. Reliance is also up a per cent (Rs 7) at Rs 650.

HDFC Bank has gained 3% (Rs 21) to Rs 623. Hero Honda has zoomed 3% (Rs 18) to Rs 595.
