Sensex up 90pts; Infosys, HDFC slip

The Sensex is now up 90 points at 20,297.

Bharti Airtel has zoomed 6% to Rs 997. Mahindra & Mahindra has soared 3.4% to Rs 863.

NTPC has surged over 3% to Rs 249. Ranbaxy and Reliance Communications have gained 2.4% each at Rs 426 and Rs 750, respectively.

Grasim, ACC and ITC have rallied over 2% each to Rs 3,710, Rs 1,029 and Rs 210, respectively.

Tata Motors has advanced 1.7% to Rs 743. Hindalco and DLF have added 1.3% each to Rs 216 and Rs 1,077, respectively.

Ambuja Cements has shed 1.6% at Rs 147.

Infosys, HDFC and Reliance Energy are down around 1% each at Rs 1,775, Rs 2,895 and Rs 2,135, respectively.

Out of 2,926 stocks traded so far, 2,580 have advanced, 335 have declined and 11 are unchanged.
